EV Charger Installation in Remuera
Remuera garages are seeing a surge in EV charger installs, and for good reason. Whether you drive a Tesla, a Porsche Taycan, or any other electric vehicle, Smart Electricians installs the right charger for your setup — Tesla Wall Connector, Wallbox, Zappi, and all major brands. Most home installations take four to six hours and cost between $950 and $2,500 installed, including testing and Certificate of Compliance.
We handle the load assessment, the switchboard work, and the compliance paperwork. One call and it's sorted.
Home Automation for Remuera Homes
Remuera is one of Auckland's strongest markets for smart home upgrades, and Smart Electricians is an approved installer of both C-Bus and PDL Wiser systems. We set up app-controlled lighting, smart heating and cooling, automated blinds and curtains, CCTV, and voice control through Google, Alexa, or Apple. Systems typically start from $500 for a targeted upgrade and scale to full-home automation for larger properties.
Aaron Rogers and the team have been designing and installing smart home systems across Auckland's Eastern Bays and inner suburbs since 2019.
Switchboard Upgrades and Rewiring
Many Remuera homes — especially those built in the mid-twentieth century — still run older fuse boards that can't support modern load demands. Smart Electricians upgrades old fuse boards to modern RCD-protected switchboards ($950–$2,500), and handles full rewiring for renovations or new additions. All work meets AS/NZS 3000 wiring standards and comes with a Certificate of Compliance.
