Architectural Lighting and Premium Electrical Fit-Outs
Smart Electricians works directly with architects and interior designers on lighting design for Herne Bay homes. We handle full lighting design, LED specification, smart dimmer integration, feature lighting, and kitchen and bathroom fit-outs. We also carry out new build wiring for additions and full redevelopments, with Aaron Rogers on-site to manage the electrical programme from design through to Code of Compliance certification.
EV Charger and Solar Installation
High-end Herne Bay properties are natural homes for EV chargers and solar arrays. Smart Electricians installs all major EV charger brands for home garages and covered parking, and handles the full electrical side of residential solar: panel wiring, inverter installation, battery storage, and smart monitoring. EV charger installs: $950–$2,500. Solar systems typically repay in six to eight years and are designed to last 25+.
Switchboard Upgrades for Large Homes
A substantial Herne Bay property places serious demands on its switchboard. If you're adding EV chargers, a heat pump, air conditioning, or an automation system, your existing board may need upgrading first. Smart Electricians replaces and rebuilds switchboards to handle modern loads, with RCD and surge protection as standard. Typical cost: $1550–$2,500.
